Merimbula Bar and Short Point beaches are particularly popular with surfers.  Other beaches around Merimbula include Main Beach, Bar Beach, and Mitchies Jetty, which is ideal for families and small children. Some are patrolled during the summer months and some offer BBQ facilities, change rooms and toilets.
